Delta Xi Sigma Education Foundation strives to ensure that financial barriers never impede one’s pursuit of higher education.  As a non-profit organization, we are committed to encouraging academic excellence, hard work, and the pursuit of prosperity.  As our cause speeds on its way…our Fraternity is pleased to offer two opportunities to recognize academic achievements and pursuits.  

You may apply for only ONE (1) of our award opportunities.

1. FOUNDERS SCHOLARSHIP

The Delta Xi Sigma Education Foundation of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. is pleased to recognize four (4) graduating male high school seniors with $1000 scholarships who exhibit scholarly traits and are also actively engaged in community service and beyond.

Eligibility Criteria:

• 2024/2025 Male High School Senior

• Milwaukee County Resident

• Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA

• Accepted into a 2 or 4-year accredited college or university program

2. PERSISTENCE to ACHIEVE GRANT

The Delta Xi Sigma Education Foundation of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. is pleased to recognize two (2) graduating male high school seniors with $500 grants. These grants aim to support students who persevere through all their challenges. Persistence will carry you through the challenges encountered in life. Regardless of the hurdles you encounter, the stress you endure, or the self-doubt you experience, persistence through grit, hard work and endurance has allowed you to still pursue your goals.

Eligibility Criteria:

• 2024/2025 Male High School Senior

• Milwaukee County Resident

• Minimum 2.0 Cumulative GPA

• Accepted into a 2 or 4-year accredited college or university program
