Suit the Cause is a professional attire clothing drive that makes a difference in the lives of postsecondary education students in Milwaukee. Community members are encouraged to donate professional attire at the Suit the Cause event; for example, a dress shirt, a pair of slacks, and a tie could be presented and provided to a young man who is scheduled to interview for an employment opportunity.

We are on a mission to make a professional wardrobe a reality for first-generation and low-income students! 

This year, we aim to collect (30) professional suits to donate to our beneficiaries, Marquette University Career Closet and UW-Milwaukee Center for Student Experience and Talent.

We will accept gently used professional clothing such as suits, partial suit items (dress shirts, slacks, blazers, etc.), neckties, and dress shoes.
